Marukyu Koyamaen Chigi no Shiro Matcha is a premium Japanese matcha crafted in Uji, Kyoto by Marukyu Koyamaen, one of Japan's most respected tea producers with a history dating back to 1704.

Designed primarily for Usucha (thin tea), Chigi no Shiro offers a refreshing balance of gentle astringency, pleasant umami, and a vibrant fresh green aroma. It produces a smooth, bright cup that is enjoyable for daily tea ceremonies, matcha practice, and everyday drinking.

No artificial colors, preservatives, sweeteners, or flavorings.
Traditional Usucha (Hot Matcha)
Sift approximately 2g of matcha into a tea bowl.
Add 60–70ml of hot water (approximately 80°C / 176°F).
Whisk briskly using a bamboo whisk until a fine foam forms.
Enjoy immediately.
Cold Matcha (Summer Style)
Place 2g of sifted matcha into a bowl.
Add a small amount of warm water and mix into a smooth paste to prevent clumping.
Add cold water.
Whisk thoroughly until evenly mixed.
Serve over ice if desired.
Matcha Latte
Mix 2–3g of matcha with a small amount of warm water until smooth, then add steamed milk or your preferred plant-based milk.
