100% Uji Matcha (Japan origin)
Warm a tea bowl (chawan) and bamboo whisk (chasen) with hot water. Discard the water and dry the bowl.
Sift about 2 scoops (approx. 2g) of matcha into the bowl using a tea sifter.
Pour approximately 100ml of hot water (about 80°C / 176°F).
Whisk vigorously with the chasen in a “W” motion until a fine froth forms. Lift the whisk gently to finish.
