Fukujuen Uji Matcha "Eisho no Mukashi" is a premium ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha carefully crafted by Fukujuen, one of Kyoto's most respected tea producers with over 230 years of tea-making heritage.

Selected by Grand Tea Master Zabosai (Senza Soshitsu), this exceptional Uji matcha is distinguished by its deep emerald green color, rich umami, elegant sweetness, and smooth finish. It is primarily intended for preparing Koicha (thick tea), the highest expression of the Japanese tea ceremony, while also producing an exceptionally refined Usucha (thin tea).

When preparing Koicha, simply use approximately twice the amount of matcha normally used for Usucha to create a luxurious, velvety texture with concentrated umami.

Whether enjoyed during a traditional tea ceremony or as part of your daily tea ritual, "Eisho no Mukashi" offers an authentic Kyoto matcha experience that reflects centuries of Japanese tea craftsmanship.
